Our Grant LMC-4200R benchtop centrifuge with refrigeration is a versatile, low-speed refrigerated unit designed to preserve sample integrity while performing gentle to moderate centrifugation for tubes, microplates or larger-volume samples. Its interchangeable rotor system accommodates tubes from 10ml to 15ml or 50ml or microplates (standard and deep well), allowing laboratories to adapt quickly between applications.

The unit offers rotation speeds of 100 - 4,200 rpm (depending on rotor), with a timed operation of up to 90 minutes and precise control over speed, time and temperature settings via a clear two-line LCD and intuitive push-button interface. Temperature can be controlled between -10°C and +25°C, delivering stable, reproducible "cold-shelf" conditions essential for sensitive biological samples, enzymes and cell suspensions. The built-in refrigeration system chills the chamber in under 10 minutes and maintains set temperature throughout the run.

Safety is enhanced by automatic imbalance detection, a secure lid-locking interlock and a metal housing that protects both samples and users. Soft-start and controlled deceleration reduce sample disturbance, while the quiet, compact design allows the centrifuge to operate unobtrusively within busy laboratory workflows.
