They are purpose-built for safe immersion, internal transport, temporary storage and the reprocessing of surgical instruments in sterile environments like hospitals, laboratories and dental practices. 

Made from welded, 0.8 mm electropolished 304-grade stainless steel, the precision-pierced walls secure delicate instrument tips while letting detergents, disinfectants and ultrasonic cavitation reach every surface. With no sharp edges or snag points, the seamless perforated sheet rinses clean in seconds, shortens washer-disinfector cycles and helps prevent the packaging tears that drive costly reprocessing. The result is faster soil release and noticeably quieter handling than traditional wire-mesh baskets.

A rigid 6×6mm welded-mesh base adds turbulence during soaking, sweeping debris away and resisting sagging under heavy instrument sets, meaning far fewer replacements than with lighter wire frames. Two internal chest handles sit flush inside the short faces to keep the basket’s profile slim for snag-free loading. These handles can be flipped up to give a balanced, wrist-friendly lift from ultrasonic baths, washer racks or autoclaves.
