The Genlab 10 x 8 stage profile programming feature enables precision thermal control for complex laboratory processes requiring multiple temperature stages. This upgrade allows users to create, store and repeat up to ten unique profiles, each with up to eight configurable stages. Each stage can be programmed with a target temperature, ramp rate, dwell time and optional hold-back to ensure the chamber remains within the defined temperature window before progressing. This is especially useful for procedures where stability and repeatability are critical.

Each profile can be individually named and set to run a specific number of cycles or operate continuously in cyclic mode. Users can also link timer-based outputs to each stage, activating visual or audible alerts at key moments. The intuitive interface makes programming straightforward, while built-in protection—such as automatic pause if the chamber deviates from expected conditions—safeguards the process.
