The Genlab extraction unit is designed to provide safe, efficient removal of heated air and fumes from laboratory ovens and incubators, supporting a clean and controlled working environment. Fitted to the top of the unit, the extraction system removes air directly from the chamber, reducing heat build-up and minimising airborne contamination or vapour accumulation during use.
Constructed from durable powder-coated mild steel, the extraction unit integrates seamlessly with Genlab standard oven ranges. It is particularly suited to applications involving the release of vapours or particulates during heating, such as drying, curing or thermal testing of materials. The system promotes consistent air movement, which helps improve temperature uniformity and may contribute to faster recovery following door openings.
The extraction unit is supplied fully assembled and includes a high-temperature in-line fan with integrated ducting suitable for laboratory installation. This system provides a dependable, low-maintenance solution for fume removal without interfering with the oven’s core thermal functions. It is ideal for use in laboratories where external ventilation or safety protocols require the active extraction of heated air from the working chamber.
