Our Grant PCV 6000 combined centrifuge/vortex mixer brings together centrifugation and vortex mixing in a single, versatile benchtop instrument - ideal for molecular biology, microbiology and clinical laboratories that demand efficiency and flexibility.

The unit offers a variable speed range from 1,000 to 6,000 rpm, enabling gentle to moderate centrifugation for microtubes and 0.2 ml strips. At the same time, it incorporates a vortex-mixing function (soft, medium and hard) to resuspend samples without transferring tubes between devices. Users can programme complex “spin–mix–spin” sequences, with up to 999 cycles, significantly reducing manual labour and saving reagent by keeping samples in situ during the entire process. Simple push-button controls and a clear two-line LCD allow repeatable settings for speed, time and mixing intensity.

Safety is prioritised via a lid-locking interlock that halts the rotor if the lid opens. Compact, quiet and lightweight, the PCV 6000 fits neatly into any lab workspace, streamlining workflows for DNA/RNA prep, PCR-diagnostic sample handling and routine centrifuge/mixing tasks.
