Our Hupfer easy rider sliding shelving system transforms underused storage space into a high-capacity, hygienic and ergonomic solution. By eliminating the need for fixed walkways and using mobile racks that glide on ball-bearing runners, the system can double available storage within the same footprint. It is equally suited to medical environments, sterile services and commercial kitchens where efficiency and hygiene are critical.

Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel, the easy rider offers excellent corrosion resistance, long-lasting durability and optimal hygienic performance. Shelving units glide smoothly and quietly - even under heavy loads - reducing physical strain and improving access. Each shelf can support up to 150 kg and the total field load between two roller chassis must not exceed 600kg. Shelves are available up to 1500mm in length and 600mm wide, with uprights supplied at 1800mm high in either 500mm or 600mm depths. Shelf formats include solid, slatted, wire and louvred options, giving you flexibility to suit different storage applications.

Installation is quick and non-invasive. Floor rails, available by the metre, are simply laid on a level surface with no drilling or permanent fixing required. Shelf heights can be adjusted tool-free, allowing the system to adapt to evolving storage needs. The easy rider is also compatible with a range of Hupfer shelving formats and can be retrofitted to existing installations.
