The Liebherr SCFfg 4002 Performance laboratory fridge-freezer is a premium storage solution designed for laboratories handling sensitive materials including flammable substances. Featuring ATEX certification, this unit ensures safe operation in environments where explosive atmospheres may occur.

With a total gross capacity of 377 litres, the SCFfg 4002 offers two independent temperature zones. The fridge compartment operates within a range of +3°C to +16°C, while the freezer compartment maintains temperatures from -9°C to -30°C. The forced-air cooling system guarantees consistent performance while the SmartFrost technology in the freezer reduces ice build-up, ensuring energy efficiency and easy maintenance.

Safety and monitoring are prioritised with visual and audible alarms to notify users of malfunctions or power failures. A volt-free alarm contact allows seamless integration with external monitoring systems, while the unit’s mechanical lock provides added security.

Built with durability in mind, it features a robust steel exterior, a hygienic polystyrol liner and an antimicrobial handle with an integrated opening mechanism. The four adjustable shelves and three freezer drawers allow for flexible storage configurations, while two access ports support external sensors or probes.

Efficient and quiet, with an energy consumption of 390 kWh/year and a noise output of 48 dB(A), the SCFfg 4002 is ideal for modern laboratory environments.
