Our Labclave-L front loading laboratory autoclaves provide dependable, high-performance steam sterilisation for laboratory glassware, media, fluids and suitable discard loads, with a 450 litre capacity. Two configurations are available: the AL0450EV-SE has an integral steam generator for sites without central steam, while the AL0450DV-SE connects to a suitable customer steam supply, allowing laboratories to select the model that best matches their existing services.

The rectangular, water-jacketed pressure vessel is manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel with a glass bead blast finish, providing corrosion resistance and dependable long-term performance. Two shelves and 20 available positions accommodate different laboratory loads, while a temperature range of 105°C to 140°C supports varied processing requirements.

Air-ballast technology applies controlled overpressure during cooling, allowing fluids and sealed containers to cool faster while reducing the risk of breakage and volume loss. The water-jacketed chamber improves cooling efficiency, while water conservation and exhaust condensate systems reduce consumption and control discharge temperatures.

A 20-program touchscreen, load-sensed process timer and internal data archiving simplify cycle selection, with timed automatic start, batch-number input and individual operator PIN codes for full traceability. The armoured load probe provides durable, accurate temperature measurement, and the load-sensed process timer ensures sterilisation only begins once the load has reached the required temperature.

An easy-glide vertical sliding door and floating seal support straightforward, secure operation, while accessible panels simplify servicing and maintenance.
