Our modular C and H frame laboratory island workbenches provide a flexible, robust and stable workspace for environments including laboratories, pharmaceuticals, R&D, healthcare and education settings. The C frame maximises under-bench space by supporting the worktop without front legs, while the H frame provides enhanced stability with full front leg support. Both integrate seamlessly with mobile or static under-bench cupboards, creating an adaptable and efficient workspace.

Constructed from fully welded mild steel, the C frame uses a 32mm x 32mm box section, while the H frame features a 25mm x 50mm box section for enhanced support. The H frame includes a rear tie bar as standard, with the option to reposition this as a central tie bar if required. Both are exceptionally strong and finished with a white epoxy powder-coated finish for durability and chemical resistance. Adjustable BZP levelling feet ensure precise stability, even on uneven floors.

Worktops are available in melamine-coated MDF, Sealwise, or Trespa® TopLab® Base, all finished in white. Melamine-coated MDF offers a cost-effective solution for low-risk or dry areas, while Sealwise incorporates a 100% waterproof core with antibacterial protection for wet or hygiene-critical zones. Trespa® TopLab® Base delivers strong resistance to impact, wear and moisture, alongside enhanced chemical resistance and antimicrobial protection for more demanding applications.

The modular design supports easy reconfiguration for changing processes, equipment relocation and deep cleaning. Available in a choice of widths, the island configuration delivers a practical dual-sided workspace without restricting access, optional modesty panel available on request.
