Priorclave load sensed process timer (for Base range autoclaves)

The Priorclave load sensed process timer is an optional feature compatible with all Priorclave autoclaves. It is designed to ensure precise and effective sterilisation by monitoring the actual temperature within the load itself. Unlike standard process timing, which begins when the chamber reaches the set temperature, this system delays the start of the dwell stage until the load temperature achieves the pre-set sterilisation threshold.

Also known as the 'Wandering Probe', 'Temperature Probe', or 'Load Sense Probe', this feature uses a dedicated temperature probe placed directly inside the load, providing a highly accurate reading of thermal penetration. By ensuring the sterilisation cycle begins only when the core of the load reaches the required temperature, this system guarantees consistent and reliable sterilisation results across all Priorclave autoclave models. It is particularly beneficial for dense or large loads, including baskets of bottle caps, pipette tips or animal feed.
