Our Priorclave Tactrol thermal printer is an optional accessory compatible with all Priorclave autoclaves, providing a clear and reliable method for documenting sterilisation cycles. It enhances traceability and compliance by recording essential cycle data, including user name, department, serial number, date, cycle and program numbers as  well as time-stamped temperature readings at key stages.

The printer logs the start and end of free-steaming, the beginning and end of process time, and final cycle completion - clearly indicating whether the cycle passed, failed or was aborted. This information is printed at pre-set intervals, creating a comprehensive, auditable record.

Using thermal printing technology, it delivers sharp, smudge-free results without the need for ink. For added safety, the printer can be set to delay printing until the autoclave door is opened, preventing contact between paper and hot surfaces. This setting can be adjusted through the autoclave menu or by a Priorclave engineer.

Paper roll replacement is quick and easy via a hinged front panel. Users should use the correct thermal paper which can also be supplied by us - just get in touch!
