The hatch is fire tested to BS EN1634-1+ A1:2018 for up to 120 minutes. Designed for sectors where contamination control is critical and ensures process integrity by reducing the risk of airborne or particulate transfer.

Built as a fully welded unit, it offers enhanced strength, hygiene integrity and long-term durability compared to assembled alternatives. The internal shell is exceptionally smooth, with seamless radiused corners, and is manufactured from 304-grade (316-grade is available on request) brush polished stainless steel to support outstanding cleanability and long-term corrosion resistance.

The dual wall construction discreetly houses integrated utilities and control systems, enabling laboratory and cleanroom compatibility with a simple installation using a 30 × 30mm flange. Framed doors feature pyroguard fire glass, stainless steel surface-mounted hinges and clamp lever handles for strength and ease of use.

Rubber edging seals are combined with mechanical interlocks, preventing both doors being opened at once, to help minimise air transfer and reduce the risk of contamination between controlled spaces. Surfaces are chemically resistant and compatible with aggressive cleaning agents, supporting strict hygiene protocols.
