Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between light duty and heavy duty stainless steel tables?

Light duty tables suit lighter general use. Heavy duty tables have a stronger frame and a higher payload, up to 250kg, for tougher environments like food production and processing.

Can I get a stainless steel table in a different top finish, such as powder coated, Trespa or Sealwise?

Yes. Alongside standard polished stainless steel tops, we offer powder coated, Trespa and Sealwise options, plus circular polished tables for round work areas. Get in touch if you need a specific top for your setting.

Should I choose 304L or 316L stainless steel?

304L-grade suits most hygienic environments. 316L-grade offers extra corrosion resistance, useful where tables face chlorides, salt or harsher chemical cleaning regimes.

Are your stainless steel tables suitable for food production?

Yes, all our stainless steel tables are manufactured for hygienic, food-safe environments and are widely used across food and drink production.

How much weight can a heavy duty stainless steel table hold?

Our static tables can hold up to 250kg, while our mobile tables with castors will hold up to 225kg.

What's the difference between the multibar, undershelf and rear tie bar options?

Multibar gives you a stronger frame with two support bars and open storage. Solid undershelf (our bestseller) gives you one enclosed shelf for tidy storage. Rear tie bar keeps the underside clear, other than a hidden rear bar.

Can I get a heavy duty table with wheels?

Yes, all three options come as mobile tables on four stainless steel castors (two braked, two swivel), or static on adjustable feet.

Do you offer heavy duty tables with a double undershelf or perforated top?

These are available as bespoke builds. Contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.
