Teknomek’s metal detectable pens contain silver ion antibacterial technology to protect against pathogenic germs and moulds - including e. Coli, MRSA, and salmonella. Durable and chemically resistant, these multipack pens are EU & FDA food-compliant and suitable for environments from -5°c to +30°c.

Metal detectable highlighters & drywipe pens

Also available are highlighter and dry wipe pens, moulded from high-density polyethylene containing a non-toxic metal additive that is detectable by calibrated metal detection systems (including x-ray). Each pen is available in multiple colour ways and has non-toxic ink making them food safe for use within the food production industry.

Food safe pens prevent foreign body contamination

Many of the pens feature a highly visible, blue outer-casing to make them more identifiable during the production process with shatterproof plastics preventing foreign body contamination within the food & pharmaceutical industries. These pens are available in retractable and capped designs with the choice of slim pens or highlighters, dry wipe and permanent marker pens.
