Wire mesh lockers for ventilated, visible storage, in mild steel or stainless steel:
Open wire mesh for airflow that helps keep odours down, and a clear view of what is stored
Sloping top keeps the lockers clear of clutter
Mild steel with a bright zinc-plated (BZP) finish, or 304-grade stainless steel with a cleaned and pickled finish for wet and damp areas
Fully welded and pre-assembled, so there is nothing to build on site
150mm raised base for cleaning underneath, with room for heating pipes in drying rooms
Hasp and staple for your own padlock (not included), plus a 3-point locking system on one-door lockers
Wall and floor fixing brackets included
The open wire mesh body lets air move freely through each locker and makes the contents visible without opening a door, which suits security-conscious sites, changing rooms and drying rooms where damp clothing needs to dry out. Mild steel with a bright zinc-plated (BZP) finish is the cost-effective choice, while 304-grade stainless steel with a cleaned and pickled finish resists rust and suits wet or damp areas.
The sloping top discourages items from being left on top, keeping the lockers tidy. Units are supplied fully welded and pre-assembled to save installation time, and stand on a 150mm raised base that makes it easy to clean underneath and leaves room for heating pipes in drying rooms.
One-door lockers are fitted with a 3-point locking system that secures the door at the top, middle and bottom, and come with a high-hat shelf and a coat hook. Lockers with two or more doors have a hasp and staple only. Either way, you fit a padlock of your choice (not included). Choose single, double or triple columns in 305mm or 457mm depths, with one to six doors per column. Wall and floor fixing brackets are included for added stability.

Which locker material should I choose: stainless steel, mild steel or wire mesh?
Stainless steel lockers are made from 304L stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a brushed finish that is easy to look after. Mild steel lockers are powder coated with an antimicrobial BioCote finish and come in a choice of colours. Wire mesh lockers have an open mesh that gives ventilation and visibility of what is stored. See our stainless steel, mild steel and wire mesh lockers.
What does the number of doors mean?
The number of doors is the total across the whole unit. A double unit with eight doors, for example, has eight lockable compartments in total.
Where are Teknomek lockers used?
Our lockers suit commercial, industrial and hygienic environments including changing rooms, hospitals, factories and offices.
Can I order a locker configuration that is not listed?
Yes. Bespoke customisation is available on request, so contact our sales team with what you need.
What are the benefits of open wire mesh lockers?
The open mesh lets air move through the locker, which helps reduce odours and, in the stainless steel version, supports the natural drying of damp clothing. It also lets you see what is stored without opening the door, which suits security-conscious environments.
Can wire mesh lockers be used in wet or damp areas?
The 304-grade stainless steel version is made for wet or damp areas. It has a cleaned and pickled finish and resists rust.
What locks do wire mesh lockers have?
Every door has a hasp and staple so you can fit your own padlock, which is not included. One-door lockers also have a 3-point locking system that secures the door at the top, middle and bottom.
Do the lockers arrive assembled?
Yes. They are supplied fully welded and pre-assembled, with wall and floor fixing brackets included.
Can wire mesh lockers be used in drying rooms?
Yes. The 150mm raised base lets you clean underneath and leaves room for heating pipes.
How do I choose the number of doors?
Choose the number of doors per column, from one to six, and the number of columns: single, double or triple. A double column unit with four doors per column, for example, has eight doors in total.
