Our products are TIG welded. TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas and works by generating heat via an arc of electricity jumping from an electrode to the metal surfaces you intend to weld. The welding process prevents oxygen contamination of the welds by protecting the arc with a shield of argon gas, the argon also cools the puddle of weld.

The welds are then electro polished using a low electrical current with a carbon brush and pickling acid, also a wire high speed rotary brush to clean the welds. TIG welding of flat sheet of thin grade is a fine, delicate and highly skilled welding process, compared to others such as MIG and stick arc welding.
